Our story

Who are we?

Bunch of software professionals who loves mangos and want to contribute our little bit towards world hunger.

Odd combination right? First, why world hunger?

According to statistics from WHO - 815 million people suffer from hunger-related problems. India ranks 100th with GHI (Global Hunger Index) of 31.4. State of Hunger in India

According to FAO estimates in ‘The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World, 2017” report, 190.7 million people are undernourished in India. By this measure, 14.5% of the population is undernourished in India. Also, 51.4% of women in reproductive age between 15 to 49 years are anemic. Further according to the report 38.4% of the children aged under five in India are stunted (too short for their age), while 21% suffer from wasting, meaning their weight is too low for their height. Malnourished children have a higher risk of death from common childhood illnesses such as diarrhea, pneumonia, and malaria.

And what it has to do with mangos?

Because like every single Indian, we miss this most exotic fruit from our homeland! Nothing in the world compares to the joy of biting into intense flavors of India's finest mangos.

Yes, but why Indian mangos?

To start with few of the quotes from the famous ...

“India is to mangos as Bordeaux is to wine” said David Karp.

On the visit to India in 2006 when former president Bush tried an Alphonso mango, he told then prime minister Manmohan Singh that it is “a hell of a fruit.”

Now what is our mission?

To provide the taste of finest mangos from homeland plus contribute the profit towards hunger problem in India.
